Work with us

Events

The Grief Cocoon hosts events where people who are grieving can come together, connect with each other and have open conversations around grief and loss in a casual, comfortable environment.

In 2021, we started a regular movie night in partnership with cohealth Arts Generator, Footscray Community Arts Centre, and local businesses.

Enquire below.

Workshops

We offer educational and creative workshops to people who are grieving, and organisations who work with community members who are grieving.

These workshops are well-planned, trauma-informed, and facilitated by individuals with lived experience of grief and loss, as well as extensive facilitation experience.

Online Support

We’re currently testing our new app where our community can share their experiences, access grief resources, and connect with others who are grieving.

You can download the app via your preferred app store.

"I highly recommend founder Gabriela Georges who used her mix of creativity and personal experience to beautifully facilitate our grief community event, and paved the way for a rich conversation among participants on grief and loss. Under her guidance, Grief Cocoon is a growing community gently exploring and unpacking grief together, whatever its facet and however long it has been held."

— Farah, Founder, Moving Conversations
